Celebrated Choreographer and dancer Tileh Pacbro, whose real name is David Otieno, revealed that he does not have a sense of smell.
A normal human being usually has five senses namely, sight, taste, hearing, smell and touch. The dancer however has the other four senses except the sense of smell.
All his life, Pacbro has never smelled anything but he does not take it as a disability. The lack of the sense however came with its own fair share of negativity.
While he was still a child, he would always be the suspect when someone farted because he would not react in any manner until he had to find an adaptive measure that helped him protect his dignity.
“The scent might be good but it doesn’t benefit me in any way. I was born without a sense of smell. Even if someone farts I can’t smell it.
“When I was little, that was a big problem. You know when someone farts and everybody covers their nose and if you don’t do that then it is you. Everyone would question Why[I would not cover my nose] so I had to be very keen immediately someone [covers their nose], I also do it even if I had not heard it just to protect my dignity,” Pacbro said in an interview with comedian Tumbili.
His biggest worry is a gas leak since he would not be able to tell if there is any and that poses a great threat to his life.
“For me my biggest worry or fear is gas leak. Good thing is that I don’t smoke, I don’t drink apart from water,” Pacbro said.
The father of one became famous after one of his dance videos were shared by rapper Cardi B and Justin Bieber.
