A group of tourists was allegedly robbed of their valuables by armed bandits while on a game drive in Samburu a few days ago.
In a one-minute and 51-second long video shared on social media, the bandits could be seen ransacking through the tourist’s van as they harassed them to produce money and other valuables.
They were however not satisfied with whatever they had collected and one of them loudly wondered why they had no money.
“Why don’t these white people have money?” he posed. Another man responded to him by saying that they usually carry money in ATMs.
Unconvinced, the attacker noted that they also walk with cash. One of the victims then pleaded with the raiders not to kill them.
“We are looking for the money, not people,” a raider said.
One of the victims also pleaded with their attackers to at least leave some money for him.

Other reports however indicated that the bandits were captured by the police and part of the lost items recovered.
A netizen also said that the county is unsafe following her travel to Samburu county earlier this year.
“When we went to Samburu county early this year even on the road we were told to be careful because it’s unsafe. Bandits had just raided a police station and killed a constable after they asked him for water. Another cop was killed last Christmas. What has the government been doing?” she posed.
