It’s almost three years since Diana Marua and Wairimu Gachuiri alias Nimo stopped being friends and became bitter enemies, the latter insists she will never forgive the former.
Nimo and Marua’s fallout was so bad that it even caused Mr. Seed and Bahati to also cease being friends, with the former opting to quit EMB Records.
Speaking during an interview with YouTuber Nicholas Kioko, Nimo insisted that she will never forgive Diana for what she did to her in 2018. She however said that she has holds no grudge against Bahati’s wife.
“Mimi sithani nitasahau Mambo nimefanyiwa na Diana na Bahati . Walinitesa vibaya lakini Kila kitu hukuja na sababu. I will never forgive and forget them. It has been two years now bila kuongeleshana na sidhani nitawai,” said Nimo.
So what’s the genesis of Nimo and Diana Marua’s bitter fallout?
On the December 31st 2018, Bahati and his EMB entourage held a New Year eve party at Thika Stadium dubbed ‘EMB Jesus Party’.
At the party, Mr. Seed’s wife Nimo wanted to make an extra shilling by selling coffee and tea to revelers.
However, Bahati’s wife Diana Marua wasn’t for the idea and when she attempted, she called the police on Nimo who was very pregnant at the time.
Gospel singer Ringtone had claimed that the disagreement started after Bahati’s wife Diana Marua learnt of Nimo’s idea and became jealous of it and wanted to do the business herself.
According to this narrative, Nimo refused to back off, insisting she is the one who conceived the idea. It’s at this point that the police were called to stop her and possibly kick her out.
“Hi guys leo nataka kuongelea hii beef ya Bahati na Mr. Seed. Kusema ukweli nilikuwa na Mr. Seed na aliniambia ati Bahati aliitia bibi yake maaskari kwa sababu ya show ya 31st yenye ilikuwa Thika Stadium. Na bibi ya Mr. Seed kuna biz alikuwa achape hapo alafu bibi ya Bahati akasikia wivu ndio wakamuitia maasakari. Kama ni hivyo by the way si poa. Mimi nataka tu kusema kuna kitu hamtuambii, Lakini mkituambia itakuwa poa, nimepiga number ya Bahati haingii nikipiga number ya Seed haingii,” Ringtone said in a video posted on his Instagram account.

But in her defense, Mr. Seed said Diana had nothing to do with all that because the person who was giving the orders (calling police) was Bahati.
“Diana na Nimo hawakupatana at any point on December 31 and what I can say is that everything inasemekana that is the truth. Diana hakutumana, orders zilikuwa zinatoka kwake Bahati,” Mr. Seed said.
