The Mumias East MP has defended Mathematics teachers against online trolls.
In a video he shared on social media, Salasya asked Kenyans to leave Mathematics teachers alone because they owe their success to them.
“I want to tell those people like Diana Marua showing the Bungalows because that Mwalimu wa maths aliwambia hii. Achana na mwalimu wa Maths They are the ones who have mentored you. You are there because of them. Teachers wa primary school and secondary school they sacrificed more for the sake of you and that’s why you find their families are always blessed,” he said.
“Just do a research any teacher, even if their generation they give birth to unsuccessful children, there is one who will uplift the family,” he added.
Salasya asked people not to insult Mathematics teachers as that might affect the quality of their work.
“Let us not insult walimu wa Maths, those people are blessed because they have the heart for you, they wanted the best for you. The likes of Marua will make our teachers not be responsible in classes, mwache hizo vitu, walimu waheshimike,” he said.
