Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria shared a cryptic message after missing out state awards dished out by President William Ruto.
In his social media page, Kuria implied that he will still continue pushing despite being left out.
“We shall be there no matter what,” CS Kuria’s statement dated Tuesday December 12 read in part.
His statement sparked reactions with Kenyans alleging a looming fallout with his bosses.
He shared a list of officials at Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua office who are tasked with populating the list thus pointing accusing fingers at them.
CS Kuria missed the state awards alongside CS Aisha Jumwa and Kipchumba Murkomen.
His Cabinet colleagues who honoured include Health CS Susan Nakhumicha, her EAC counterpart Malonza Peninah, ICT CS Owalo Eliud Okech, Lands CS Njeru Zachariah Mwangi, Energy CS Davis Chirchir and Trade CS Rebecca Miano.
Health CS dedicated her award to medical professionals who helped her set a stellar performance.
“My sincere appreciation to H.E President @WilliamsRuto for conferring upon me the Elder of the Order of the Golden Heart (EGH). I am honoured and humbled.
I dedicate this award to my colleagues in the Health sector, who work selflessly and with dedication in their service to Kenyans.
Further, I dedicate this award to the 100,000 Community Health Promoters who anchor the Universal Health Coverage agenda at the grassroots, ” Nakhumicha wrote.
In the Gazette Notice, Ruto bestowed the Elder of the Order of the Golden Heart (EGH) on 27 individuals among them record-breaking athlete Faith Kipyegon and the Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces General Ogolla Francis Omondi.
