54-year-old man from Mombasa has been arrested after he used crude weapon to forcefully circumcise his 45-year-old wife.
The woman, whose whose identity we have concealed due to the sensitivity of the matter, told the press that her husband has been very violent to her ever since she joined him in Mombasa from upcountry.
The quadragenarian revealed that she has lived together with her violent husband for 26 years in a relatively peaceful environment until she joined him in Mombasa.
“He has been violent towards me since I relocated to Mombasa from upcountry after I discovered that he had another woman whom he used to live with,” the woman told K24.
She said her husband has always threatened to circumcise her with crude weapons whenever they quarreled.
“He has never asked me to undergo circumcision peacefully. Whenever he becomes violent he always wants to circumcise me using crude weapons,” said the woman.
The woman revealed that her violent spouse first attempted to forcefully circumcise her in August this year but failed.
“He almost succeeded in cutting me since I had fainted after a fight where he literary broke my back as confirmed by the doctors. Amidst much pain, I regained consciousness forcing him to stop. He was using some crude metal,” she recalled.
On Tuesday, September 7th 2021, the man successfully circumcised his wife. The woman says her evil husband assaulted her at around 8pm to an extent that she fainted.
She says the husband then undressed her and inserted pliers into her private parts and cut off part of her genitals.
“After I fainted, he removed my pants and inserted the pliers in my private parts. The pain was too much. I have not been able to walk properly since then and I have not sought proper medication due to financial constraints. I have to deal with bleeding every day,” the woman narrated.
