The Modern Coast bus was traveling from Mombasa to Tanzania.
The bus driver lost control, drove off the road, and crashed into a river in the Masosa region, on Wednesday morning, injuring an unknown number of passengers.
However, it killed a pedestrian when it skidded off the road and struck him.
The injured are receiving care in a number of hospitals after they were rushed for urgent care.
According to early reports, the Modern Coast bus was traveling from Mombasa to Tanzania.
