Millicent Omanga And 9 Others Who Are The Most Googled Kenyans In 2023

Interior CAS Millicent Omanga is the most searched Kenyan in 2023 according to a report that was released by Google.

The former nominated MP went viral earlier this over allegations of her viral obscene photos leaking online.

In the photos in question, a voluptuously woman, with an outfit similar to Omanga’s was captured in a compromising pose.

Keyboard warriors went ahead to replace her face with Omanga’s making her a subject of discussion for days.

It however emerged later that the viral photo had been downloaded from an adult video website.

Pastor Ezekiel Odero of New life Church and Prayer Center comes second in the  2023 trending list. The pastor has been trending after being linked to the Shakahola massacre. This saw his church and TV station shut down as investigations into the matter went on.

He was however cleared of the allegations, with the prosecution requesting for a closure of his file.

At number 3 is DJ Fatxo who was linked to the death of one of his friends that occurred in his apartment.

He is followed by social media influencer Georgina Njenga whose nude video was leaked online.

Pastor Mackenzie, Faith Kipyegon and Former Interior CS Fred Matiang’i come at number 5,6 and 7 respectively.

Mackenzie captured the nation’s attention for allegedly making his followers to fast to death with a promise that they will be able to meet the Creator.

Kipyegon, on the other hand is the only sports person who made it to the list.

“Kipyegon made the list of the top trending searches by Kenyans at number six after she won the World Athletics Championships 1500m and 5000m titles, completing a remarkable distance double and becoming the first woman ever to complete a 1,500-5,000 meters double at the World Championships,” Google stated.

Number 8, 9 and 10  have been taken by former IEBC boss Wafula Chebukati, Chief Justice Martha Koome and Mathe wa Ngara respectively.

The google list further details losses that have trended in Kenya this year and they include those of Former Education CS George Magoha’s, Edwin Chiloba, gospel singer Illagosa wa Illagosa, Catherine Kasavuli, Tina Turner among others.
