Miguna’s Message To Kisumu Locals After They Threatened To Ruin His Homecoming “Party”

Date:

Lawyer Miguna Miguna has maintained that his Kisumu homecoming event is still on despite the threats from locals.

In a tweet on Tuesday morning, Miguna said that he will visit Kisumu on Friday as planned, noting that the country belongs to everyone.

“I will arrive in Kisumu on Friday, October 28th, 2022. Kenya is MARWA,” he said.

On Monday, a section of Kisumu locals was captured warning him about the homecoming and his plans to liberate them from Raila Odinga’s rule. The residents said that they are not interested in welcoming him after being exiled for close to five years since they have their own share of troubles to deal with.

“We have heard he wants to hold a homecoming. Of what use is that to us? How are we connected, as Kisumu residents, with Miguna’s homecoming? We want to tell them that we are still hurting after the general elections. We are jobless, we have nothing, his homecoming will disturb many things, we have no time for those things ” one of the locals said.

Another added, “We accept he is our son, but for now, we don’t want him here in Kisumu with his stupid things. We are serious and we are still following Raila alone. We don’t want his homecoming disruptions. We might chase him from Kisumu.”

Responding to the locals remarks, Miguna accused Raila of being behind the threats.

“To conman@RailaOdinga: Using the Githeri Media to THREATEN me will not work. I’m coming to Kisumu on Friday. Go ahead and engage in VIOLENCE and MAYHEM. That’s your primary qualification. But in the end, the Luo Nation will and must be LIBERATED,” the lawyer said.
