Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria can now be able to walk well without any aid after undergoing a stem cell surgery in Dubai.

In a video that he shared on his Facebook page, Kuria and his friends together with his doctor engaged in a 4km walk and the MP performed very well.

“The honorable seems  okay, he is not tired, he has not asked  for water, he is not sweating, we thank Kenyans for your prayers. We look forward to seeing you on February 19 at Thika stadium for homecoming,” said one of the participants of the walk.

On his side, Kuria said that he was grateful for the prayers from Kenyans, his family and friends while saying that he will be landing in the country next Saturday.

“To all of you I want to welcome you to JKIA next Saturday 6 am, lets meet there,” Kuria said.

With the development, his followers were excited as some said that God had given him a second chance.

“We thank God for healing you and we give him all glory and honor. When you come back champion for good affordable health care and doctors,” Joy Hopeful said.

“This is total testimony that we serve a miracle working God,” Sara Favor’s response said.

While Muchira Wangombe wrote, “It’s good to seee you back on your feet healing is ur portion. All the best with your chama cha kazi campaigns.”

Kuria underwent the stem cell procedure in mid-December last year and was among the pioneer patients to undergo the procedure.

The surgery was meant to  accelerate healing of his burn wounds by inducing skin regeneration, reducing fibrosis and improving scarring.

The lawmaker has been in hospital for months after suffering third degree burn injuries. Kuria sustained the burns after using an electric mat to manage the numbness in his feet in late September last year.
