In what looks like ritual killing, Maureen Nyaboke has been reportedly found around Mwihoko area while sleeping on the bag of the young boy she was accused of torturing and killing.
From the photos circulated around, the person believed to be Maureen Nyaboke was sleeping by the roadside, making netizens wonder if she knew that the young boy she was taking care of died.
On their side, a number of Kenyans interpreted the act of Maureen sleeping on the boy’s bag as the highest level of uchawi in the 21st century. Whatever she was doing with that bag still remains a mystery.
“Look at this lady sleeping on the young boy’s bag after allegedly beating her to death. Where I come from, this act of still holding on to the deceased’s property even at their death is more of a ritual meant to protect the culprits. Let me hope she was just sleeping on the bag innocently.” Wrote one Mr. Kelvin.
“Uyu anaua mtoto na bado analalia bag yake? Hi kama si uchawi basi sijui ni nini.” Said another lady.
“Woowe yani this Maureen Nyaboke has the guts to retain the boy’s bag after torturing him? Ama alitumwa na mganga apeleke iyo bag. This is unfortunate.” Commented another Kenyan.
“The lady looks young and innocent. Perhaps someone misled her to do whatever she did and leave the house with the bag for achieving other objectives. Ask yourself why take a bag after being a maid for one day as reported by the mother? People can be so fishy.” Stated another person.
For the better part of Wednesday, social media has been full of the news of one Maureen Nyaboke killing Wangui Wambeca’s two year old son.
According to information from Wangui Wambeca, she employed Maureen Nyaboke on Tuesday and decided to release her the next day on Wednesday for beating her kid.
Fast-forward, the kid would die on Saturday due to internal bleedings according to them.
