A 40 year old man by the name Lorumeta made a shocking revelation after admitting that he killed both his wife and her lover after he found them in the act.
After murdering them in cold blood, the visibly confused man presented himself to the Karuna Police Station. The man looked guilty and in his possession was the bloodied panga he used to commit the heinous crime.
The unfortunate event, which happened at Karuna village left the local residents bemused, and according to their version of the story, the deceased man and the deceased woman had been engaging in improper love affair while the husband was away. The man had even warned the two before he killed them.
These residents further revealed that the man was a friend to Lorumeta since they both worked in Kaptebei farm as casual labourers.
While at the station, Mr. Lorumeta narrated to the police officers that he was fed up with his wife’s promiscuous habit.
However, the police took his words with a pinch of salt and said that they would conduct a thorough investigation in a bid to find out what really transpired. According to the officers, they could not depend on the revelations by the suspect as that would not be sufficient evidence in the court of law.
The killing incident was confirmed by the County Commander Mr. Ayub Ali who disclosed that the suspect will be charged in court once they complete investigations.

The two bodies of Cheruiyot Lomorian and Nancy Cheruto, which had very deep cuts were taken for postmortem at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary.
Cases of lovers resorting to killing each other as opposed to adopting amicable ways to solve the same have been common in Kenya due to increased infidelity.
