Education cabinet secretary Prof George Magoha on Monday lost his cool and almost went physical with Rift Valley regional director John Lekakeny.
According to Magoha, he was upset by Mr. John Lekakeny for allegedly failing to supervise schools in Baringo County.
On his side, the Rift Valley regional director defended himself while maintaining that he had performed his roles as required by the law.
Mr. Magoha who doubled as the guest of honor alongside Labour Cabinet Secretary Simon Chelugui had attended a groundbreaking of New Salabani primary school after the former school was submerged by the swelling of Lake Baringo.
On hi side, the area member of parliament thanked the education CS for heeding his request of appealing to the national government to release funds in a bid to build the schools which were badly affected by floods.
Besides, the member of parliament requested professor Magoha to consider Marigat as special area and allow registration of special schools such as Loitip girls to go on, which the Cs accepted.
