Barcelona goalscorer, Luis Suarez has conceded the La Liga title to rival Real Madrid, admitting they are impossible to catch.
At the moment, Barcelona is four points behind league leaders Real Madrid with only two matches to play this season and it would take them something more than a miracle to win the league title.
Barcelona will face Osasuna at home today before concluding their season with a visit to Alaves. Meanwhile, Real Madrid will face fifth-placed Villareal tonight in their penultimate match before visiting relegation strugglers Leganes on Sunday.
Suarez has admitted that winning their third consecutive title this season is impossible having seen their form stutter since the league resumption with a costly draw against Sevilla, Atletico Madrid, and Celta Vigo.
If you have to be honest, the league is almost impossible. The game against Sevilla [a goalless draw] is a game that makes things very difficult for you. We had options to get ahead.
“The day was important but in Vigo it was key. We lost our great opportunity. ‘If we had beaten Celta, we could have been better off against Atletico. The blow was in Vigo, the goal in the last minute from Aspas,” Suarez told Diario Sport.
Even though not lifting the title this season hurt, the 33-year-old Uruguayan say they have to finish the league in good spirit and then go to Champions League.
Since the return of Spanish football, Suarez has netted for goals for his side but that does not look enough for Barcelona.

“For now our pride and for the prestige of Barcelona, we have to win the remaining two games and then focus squarely on Champions League.
“A failure in a match can be very expensive. This is why we have to be very vigilant and we need everyone to be able to get the Champions League,” Suarez said.
Barcelona is set to play Napoli in Champions League on August 8 in the second leg after they drew from the first leg in February.
