Machakos senator Boniface Mutinda Kabaka is fighting his life in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after spending a night with a woman identified as Esther Muli.
The incident which was reported at the Kilimani Police Station by Jenifer Mueni kabaka, the wife to Senator Boniface Kabaka, revealed that she received news that the husband had been admitted to the Nairobi Hospital while in a critical condition.
The news was broken to her by one Isaac Muinde who is an employee at the senator’s office in Nairobi.
Upon receiving the news, she went to the hospital in company of other family members, including her co-wife Vascoline Katanu Kabaka. They were told that Mr. Boniface was rushed to the facility by paramedics after suffering from an illness. He felt sick in some apartment in Kilimani along Elgeyo Marakwet Road.
In the meantime, the police officers who visited the scene established that Mr. Kabaka had checked in to the apartment with a certain woman the previous evening. This woman by the name Esther Muli was a resident of Wote town, Machakos county.
Esther admitted that they were spending some good time with the senator before he suddenly felt some serious headache. As a result, he requested for paracetamol from the woman but the pain increased. It is at that point that she informed the hotel management who responded by calling an ambulance.

The scene was cordoned off and all possible evidence collected for processing by the government analyst to try to unravel what transpired. The lady at the center of the incident was also arrested and taken to the Kilimani Police station to help with further investigations.
