Lilian’s hubby Julius Owino aka Juliani has broken his silence on being given a powerful position in the Azimio One Kenya Alliance just a day after Alfred Mutua left the coalition.
There had been rumors that Juliani had been appointed by Azimio One Kenya Coalition as director of entertainment.
Many even claimed that governor Alfred Mutua was not happy with Juliani’s entry in Azimio, hence forcing him to dump it for William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza.
However, Juliani has since responded to the rumors that he is not aware of such an appointment since no official communication has been made to him.
At the same time, Juliani made it clear that he has worked hand in hand with the community and he would not distance himself from issues of governance in an election year.
Below was part of the statement by Juliani on joining Azimio:
“It has been brought to my attention that there is information circulation online about my appointment as Director of Entertainment in the Azimio OKA Coalition. I would like to clarify that this has not been communicated to me formally or otherwise. Therefore i would like to confirm that i am not employed or affiliated with any political party in Kenya or beyond.”
He continued: “The above doesn’t give me the luxury of distancing myself from issues of governance, particularly in an election year. I am willing to join hands with like-minded partners including political partners that have a clear manifesto and agenda FOCUSSING PRIMARILY ON SUSTAINABLE YOUTH EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVES.”
Juliani and Alfred Mutua have not been seeing eye to eye ever since he snatched the governor’s wife Lilian Ng’ang’a. Lilian dumped Mutua for musician Juliani, something which shocked the world with most netizens asking why she would dump a billionaire like governor Mutua for a hustler in the name of Juliani.
