The “King” flirted with the triple-double with 38 points (11/18 shooting), 12 rebounds and eight assists, while Anthony Davis added 29 points (11/18 shooting), 11 boards and eight assists for the winners.
On the other hand, the duo of Damian Lillard (34 points) and CJ McCollum (28 points) combined for 62 points for Portland, while Carmelo Anthony added 20 (13 of them in the third quarter).
Even though the Blazers were in front by four at halftime (53-57), the Lakers outscored their opponents 63-51 in the second half and sealed the deal.
