Kyle Walker heroically stepped up in between the sticks to secure a draw for Manchester City against Atalanta.
Pasalic Mario on Wednesday evening, November 6, scored the goal that gave Italian club Atalanta a point against Premier League champions Manchester City in the Champions League.
Before facing Man City in this encounter, Atalanta had lost their last three games in Group C, and they needed to get a point for their fans.
Atalanta started the encounter on a good note and they would have even scored the first goal in the fourth minute when Hateboer set up De Roon, but he could not beat Ederson Moraes. City had their own chance to score two minutes later through Gabriel Jesus who got a brilliant pass from Kevin De Bruyne, only for him to miss the great chance.
Pep Guardiola’s men finally took the lead in the 7th minute through England international Raheem Sterling who was assisted by Brazilian Gabriel Jesus. The first half, however, ended with Man City leading by a goal against Atalanta as he two teams headed into the break.

Atalanta changed their pattern of play in the second half to a more attacking one, but they still failed to get the equalizer. City would have even scored another goal to increase their tally, only for Brazil international Gabriel Jesus to miss from the penalty spot.
Pasalic Mario eventually restored parity for Atalanta in the 49th minute after gaining an assist from Alejandro Gomez. Both teams failed to get the winning goal in this encounter and had to share the points. Meanwhile, Manchester City are still topping the Champions League Group C with 10 points after four games played.
