Kikuyu vernacular singer Kimani Wa Turraco has made the most damning protest song of Raila Odinga who is making inroads in Mt Kenya.
For years, Mt Kenya politicians have been using Railaphobia to rally their base not to vote for the former Prime Minister.
Singer Kimani Wa Turraco is once again propagating Railaphobia in Central Kenya, desperately trying to paint Raila as bogeyman in the region.
The Kikuyu vernacular singer has released a song demonizing the ODM leader with the intention of convincing Mt Kenya voters not to support his presidential bid.
Kimani Wa Turraco made a damning protest song of Raila dubbed ‘HAIWEZEKANI RAILA IS BIG NO’ which was released on YouTube on Sunday November 7th.
The song was released a day after Raila pulled mammoth crowds during his tour of Nyandarua county on November 6th.
Kimani Wa Turraco used snapshots of Raila’s rallies in Nyandarua county in his song to dissuade Mt Kenya voters from supporting the former Prime Minister.
“Is there an elder who will come out and warn our people that the direction they are taking will land them in deep hole…What has changed now that we are being told to follow this man when we have always been told to avoid people from the lake-side since they go nuts,” Kimani Wa Turraco sung.
The ODM leader has been pulling massive crowds during his tours of Mt Kenya region to the surprise of many who have been propagating Railaphobia.
The Saturday November 6th rallies in Nyandarua county was the talk of the nation because of the sheer number of people who turned up to welcome Raila.
Raila now heads to Tharaka Nithi county for another rallies and he will be accompanied by at least six governors from Mt Kenya region.
Embu Governor Martin Wambora, Meru County Governor Kiraitu Murungi, Laikipia Governor Ndiritu Murithi, Nakuru County Governor Hon Lee Kinyanjui, Kiambu County Governor James Nyoro, CS Agriculture Peter Munya, Peter Kenneth are among leaders who will accompany Raila.
