There has been a buzz on social media after radio presenter Kamene Goro opened up on his beef with comedian Mulamwah.
In an interview with Oga Obinna, Kamene said that Mulamwah had trolled him and that’s why she is not in good terms with him.
“One Mulamwah is a bully, and he thinks just because he is a comedian, it’s okay for him to be a bully. I posted a picture, he went and wrote something extremely hateful. I’m like bossy, hatasikujui yani nimekukosea wapi and checked him on it,” Kamene said.
Responding to the allegations, Mulamwah said that indeed he had commented on the post but did not mean to bully the radio presenter. According to him, he made the comment because his fellow content creator, Chebet Ronoh, was in the post and the two were used to jokingly bash each other.
He however did not know that Kamene would take the matter so personal. He apologized but Kamene refused to forgive him. The story however cooled down.
“Nakumbuka tukipatana naye mara ya kwanza, nilikuwa upcoming kitambo kwa The Chipkeezy show. Ilihappen siku nilikuwa guest, pia yeye alikuwa guest na Andrew Kibe. We had a good show, we exchanged numbers. Next we met in an interview at NRG na during that time, ndio pia nilikutana na Chebet Ronoh, Tukaanza kuongea na kutaniana. Nikipost picha utapata pale kwa comments ameniradi, yeye akipost namradi,” Mulamwah explained in an interview with Plug TV.
“It was a certain photo walikuwa swimo, Kamene na Ronoh so mimi comment yangu ilikuwa ya kuradi. The comment was Nyi wawili mkiruka kwa hii swimo hio maji itatoka nusu nje,” he said.
About a year and a half later after the incident, Mulamwah was trending and even burnt his iconic shirt because of being trolled and at that moment Kamene showed up saying that he had trolled her.
“So ni kama hakutaka kuassociate na huyu mtu upcoming, hio story haikuwahitokea. Ile time mimi nimechoma shati, nimekuwa bullied, jina liko mbali ndio Kamene anasema huyu msee amewahi nibully. Nakumbuka akisema kwa radio matusi mengi but hakuna mahali nimewahiita Kamene ati hippo sijui elephant,” the father of one said.
He told Kamene that it was not right for her to propagate lies against him since she had also encountered trolls before he came to the limelight.
“It hurts me as an artist that a person is alleging I called her so and so and it is not like that. I am just surprised that the story came up again three years down the line, I am confused about what people want with me,” Mulamwah said.
Mulamwah however feels that Kamene is chasing clout using his name but as a parent, he says that now he should not be quarreling online but instead lead as an example to the upcoming generation.
