Khalwale Promises Ruto 100% Of Luhya Votes After Being Stoned In Busia

Date:

Former Kakamega governor Dr. Boni Khalwale has promised deputy president William Samoei Ruto all the Luhya votes just a day after they were booed and chased by angry voters.

Ruto’s Busia tour was marred by chaos as angry youths threw stones at them under unclear circumstances.

According to Boni Khalwale, neither Raila Odinga nor Musalia Mudavadi has an influence in Western region and that he will be the determining force come 2022 since he has taken over from them.

“Raila should know if he is waiting for Uhuru to make him the President,Uhuru has no influence in Western. Those with influence have already been short-changed.Ruto still remains our presidential candidate.”

“Ukitegemea Uhuru akufanye rais ujue kwamba hapa Mumias, hapa Kakamega, hapa Western, hapa kwetu, Uhuru hana usemi wa kisiasa hata kidogo. Hapa kwetu mwenye angesema amejengwa wamezama.

“Mudavadi amezama, Wetangula amezama, Jirongo amezama, Mukhisa Kituyi amezama, lakini Mungu yupo, Waluhywa hawakuangi na bibi mmjoa. Bibi mdogo amezaa Washiali, amezaa Khlawale, amezaa Didmus Barasa, amezaa Dan Wanyama, amezaa Rashid Echesa tuko tuko tuko.

“And William Ruto you will be president because our people will vote for you a hundred percent.” Said Khalwale.

In the meantime, Dr. Boni Khalwale and deputy president William Ruto had a rough time on Friday after the visibly angry voters decided not to give them a listening ear.

From the video in possession of Sonko News taken in the western part of the country, Boni Khalwale and the deputy president  could not address the crowd which was chanting Tawe.

Attempts to cool down the angry crowd were futile as chants of “Hakuna hatutaki UDA!” continued to fill the air from the locals majority of whom were putting on branded UDA yellow T-shirt.

The former Kakamega senator and the deputy president are traversing the western part of the country as they sell their bottom up economic model. Some of the places they visited on Friday include Butere, Bukura, Mumias town and  Musoli town in Ikolomani constituency.

While there, they engaged the locals in Kakamega county at the start of their two day tour of Western region where the insisted that they will implement the bottom up economic model to create jobs for the millions of young people in the region.

At the same time, the second in command took his time to urge Raila Odinga and the OKA principals to decide and face him instead of bothering president Uhuru Kenyatta to unite them.

“So mimi naambia hi watu nashindana na hao, wanapoteza muda mwingi kwa sababu kwanza wamekosa kujipanga sai wanahangaika, wanakaribia Uhuru hapo, tafadhali si utupange, wanaingia statehouse Mombasa wanatoka, wanaingia state house Nakuru wanatoka, wanaingia sijui hoteli gani.

“Sasa wanazungukanazungukana. Hi watu wakiendelea vile wanaendelea, hi watu! Watedna tena Uhuru park kuenda kuswear themselves in pale 2022 wakati tumepanag serikali. Wakiendelea vile wanaoendelea, kwa sababu sasa hawana candidate sai, hawajui ni huyu ama ni huyu, hawana mipango hawana sera, hawana chama kama hi ya UDA, kila mtu anabebana nachama yake. Hawana mpango sai ati wanagoja Uhuru. Hawajui Uhuru ako na kazi ya 45 million Kenyans ya kuendesha hawa watu sita wangojea hapo.” Said Ruto.
