Public Service CS Moses Kuria has found himself on the wrong side with Kenyans on x, formerly Twitter, after using King Charles’s departure from the country to bash some of the political leaders.
The King and his Queen consort Camilla left the country on Friday after concluding their 4-day trip in the country.
Taking to X, the controversial government official chided politicians who brand themselves as kingpins.
“Sasa venye King amerudi kwao, fake Kingpins you can take over,” he said.
A section of KOX believed that the remarks however targeted Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
The two leaders from central Kenya do not enjoy a cordial relationship and from time to time, have engaged in heated exchanges in public over the fuel prices among other issues.
Kuria has also been blaming the second in command for his woes.
Recently, following the cabinet reshuffle, Kuria insinuated that Gachagua was responsible for him being removed from the ministry of Trade, a position deemed influential. The CS shared a photo of Gachagua after the reshuffle.
Below are other reactions that Kuria’s tweet on kingpins elicited.
