Kenyans took to their social media handles to express their happiness after the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga attended a church service at the Legio Maria Church in Makongeni.
Specifically, the Kenyans were impressed by Raila’s outfits where he wore a white gown only put on by the church priests.

The opposition leader was also accompanied former Gatanga member of parliament Peter Kenneth, Suna East member of parliament Junet Mohammed, ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna amongst others.
While there, the leaders maintained that Raila Odinga will be the fifth president of Kenya and that he has the solutions to the problems bedeviling Kenyans.
Peter Kenneth hailed the handshake between Raila Odinga and president Uhuru Kenyatta, maintaining that Kenya needed a leader like Raila who can unite the country.
As a result, he made it clear that Kenyans need to reward Raila Odinga in 2022 because he has selflessly fought for the country now for the longest time possible.
He also gave assurance that they will be at the fore front to help the former opposition leader climb the mountain despite the negative sentiments by his competitors that he was a persona non grata in the Mountain region.
On his side, Raila urged Kenyans to embrace unity in all aspects ranging from religion to politics. He also took time to market his Azimio La Umoja and asked all Kenyans to board it as the country heads to 2022.
He further condemned deputy president William Ruto’s wheelbarrow economic model, insisting that Kenyans deserve better as opposed to just getting wheelbarrows.
