Kenyan Pastors Fight Their Foreign Counterparts After Rachel Ruto Hosted Them For Lunch At Statehouse

Date:

The move by first lady Rachel Ruto to give preference to the foreign men of God and welcome them in statehouse is not going on well with Kenyan pastors.

One pastor Peter Ambuka while taking to his official Facebook account expressed his dissatisfaction at how Rachel Ruto was only treating well the foreign men of God at their expense. Pastor Ambuka is one of those men of God who stood with ruto at the Time of need hence he could not stomach being ignored to the point of not getting a lunch invite at statehouse.

Ambuka claimed that the way they (local men in Holy uniform) were being treated was not good enough, forcing him to reward William Ruto’s government ony 2 out of 10 marks since taking over the office. Below is what pastor Peter Ambuka wrote:

“Let me begin criticizing the new government that I elected. William Ruto in his first day has betrayed all the the hustlers and Men of the cloth who supported him vehemently with all their lives. It was unfortunate to see many not getting their invitation card to the inauguration ceremony and also the Luncheon at statehouse. I have also seen the first lady hosting foreign prophets in state house. It is good to honor men of God but I thought she should have started with the local men and women of God who not only prayed and stood with them in their most difficult time but voted for her husband. If I would grade the hustler government based on its day one performance I would give 2 marks out of 10.”

On their side, Ruto’s close supporters urged the man of God to relax since their time will equally come. Below is what Ruto’s insider told pastor Ambuka:

“Bishop, you’ve been a member of the Hustlers Nation for years and you know very well that there is always a special team. They simply did what they’ve been doing all along. No need to act surprised! As for the First Lady, I’m yet to understand her fascination with the West African prophets. I really don’t. Perhaps, they are her spiritual fathers. You never know.”

Rachel Ruto through her social media account shared that she was privileged to host a number of foreign religious leaders at statehouse including Dr. Ian Ndlovu and his evangelist wife.

“It was a pleasure hosting Dr. Ian Ndlovu and his wife Evangelist Angel Ndlovu who paid me a courtesy call at State House, Nairobi.” Wrote Rachel Ruto on her official Facebook page.
