On Monday, Kenya’s confirmed coronavirus cases rose by 193 to reach a total of 32,557 after the testing of 3381 samples in the last 24 hours.
All the new cases were Kenyans except three out of which 137 were male while 56 were female.
Health CAS said age-wise, the youngest was a two-month-old infant while the oldest was 87 years old.
In its daily briefing, the Ministry of Health also announced 255 more recoveries as 6 more patients succumbed to the disease raising the total counts to 18,895 and 554 respectively.

Of the total recoveries, 188 were on home-based care while 37 were in hospitals.
Nairobi county is still leading with the total number of confirmed cases with a total of 78 people tested positive for the virus. Other counties had their cases as follow, Embu 24, Garissa 21, Kiambu 18, Nyeri 13, Mombasa 10, Samburu 6, Murang’a 5, Lamu 4, Kajiado 3, Trans Nzoia 2, Kilifi 2, Machakos 1, Isiolo, Tharaka Nithi, Meru, Nyandarua, Uasin Gishu, and Nakuru all had one case each.
