Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) has acquired rights to air 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) matches.
The government broadcaster will showcase all fifty-two matches across its three television stations and 14 radio stations.
Speaking at the unveiling of the 2024 AFCON licence on Friday January 12, Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba stated that the milestone was part of KBC reforms under his management.
“It’s all coming to you live across your television and radio sets, enjoy the game,” CS Ababu stated.
The matches are set to kick off tomorrow at 11 pm East African Time ( EAT), January 13 in Ivory Coast.
Ivory Coast also known as the Elephants will play against Guinea Bissau in the opening group A matches.
