The hearing of Kawira Mwangaza’s impeachment entered the second day, and it was her turn to defend herself against the 7 charges that formed ground forĀ her impeachment by the Meru County Assembly.
In her defence, several videos were played in senate showing how Meru leaders openly showed their dislike for her.
In one of the videos, Tigania East MP Mpuru Aburi claimed that she should be told to respect men.
The MP further went on to make some unprintable remarks against the female politician.
“Governor Kawira Mwangaza should be told to respect us men. Bring that stick, I have come with this stick replicating the Male organ. This stick is for Kawira Mwangaza. Stop, I have to tell them. This stick is for penetrating Kawira Mwangaza,” he said in part.

Mwangaza could not hide her tears when she was asked to explain what the MP was saying.
In a separate video, the same MP alleged that Mwangaza was not originally from Meru.
According to him, her father is from the Kikuyu community
Mwangaza lined up four witnesses to defend her against the charges that were levelled against her.
She is expeceted to know her fate this Wednesday.
