Kalonzo Expresses Confidence Of Being Azimio’s Flagbearer In 2027

Date:

Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has said that Azimio should settle of 2027 flagbearer this year.

During an interview with Spice FM on Wednesday morning, Musyoka noted that the coalition should hold discussion to settle the matter early enough.

“The next contest will be defined in 2024. Let us go to the negotiating table and agree between ourselves. I believe in that coalition and I will do anything I can to sustain it,” Kalonzo said.

“We cannot wait and begin to haggle at the end who is going to be the flagbearer this has to be settled now.”

While he believe he is the most suitable candidate, Kalonzo said he would not turn his back on Azimio, if he is not selected as the flagbearer.

“I don’t think so, I believe in this coalition. If you live in this country you will know this is the time for this Kalonzo to give it a second trial after 2007, when I was calling all of us to serious action, a 24/7 working nation because how else are we going to deal with this problem of unemployment, and saw confusion of William calling his hustlers and now even abandoning them together with high taxes.

“We are very clear where we are going when the issue is to be put on the table which of us will be the flag bearer I think we are well positioned,” he said.
