Former Kiambu governor William Gitau Kabogo on Sunday embarrassed Gatundu South member of parliament Moses Kuria during Ruto’s rally held at Thika stadium.
Moses Kuria had just made his way into Thika Stadium but the organizers of the meeting gave him a wide berth. The leaders continued with their speeches as if Moses Kuria was a nobody.
Infact, attempts by Moses Kuria to get attention from the audience bore no fruit since no one was interested in his theatrics.
As a result, the visibly frustrated Moses Kuria quickly came out of his car and joined the meeting because no one seemed interested in his planned grand entry.
A few minutes later, the former Kimabu governor William Kabogo also made asimilar entry but the treatment was way much different from that of Moses Kuria.
Not only was the meeting stopped by Ndindi Nyoro to welcome Kabogo but he also urged the attendees to turn and receive Kabogo like a VIP.
“Alalala, that is Kabogo coming in, please let us welcome him. Everyone turn and welcome William kabogo.” said Ndindi Nyoro as Moses Kuria, who was seated at the podium wished that the ground could sink and swallow him alive.
For the next ten minutes, the meeting was put to a temporary stop just to welcome Mr. kabogo. Both Kabogo and Moses Kuria are eyeing the Kiambu gubernatorial seat and their differences openly played out.
Infact, Sonko News has learnt that Moses Kuria was not happy with how the organizers of the meeting welcomed Kabogo after giving him a wide berth.
“It was not necessary to welcome William Kabogo after treating Moses Kuria like an outcast. The right thing to do would have been to equally assume Kabogo since the two are supporting William Ruto. I don’t know whether Kuria will heal from that frustration.”
William kabogo even made Kuria’s life more difficult when he rose to speak. Not only was the man popular but the crowd also cheered him, sending the Gatundu South MP into more panic.
Kabogo even stated that he was not at Thika stadium to engage in childish politics of eyeing the Kiambu gubernatorial seat like the other people like Kuria.
