Kenya Airports Authority Chairman Caleb Kositany has broken silence on corruption allegations being witnessed at JKIA.
In a tweet, Kositany said that the claims were serious and would be investigated.
He however required help to reach, Clay Onyango, who is responsible for the allegations.
“Can someone help us get Clay to respond?.Clay?. Any allegation made we take seriously and we will investigate thoroughly,” Kositany said.
The tweet was accompanied by a screenshot of messages that a KAA staff send Clay, in a bid to establish the basis of his allegation.
“My attention has been drawn to your recent TikTok video on harassment and bribery allegations at JKIA. We would like to pick up the issue and get to the bottom of it” read one of the messages.
Clay however did not respond to any of the messages.

In a video he shared on TikTok, Clay claimed that in order to travel via JKIA, one requires to have a bribe of over $100 in cash.
According to him, efforts to end the menace have not born any fruits as officials at the airport have been ignoring the concerns.
“Niko tu hapa kuwachanua. In order for you to travel through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you need to bribe $100 up to $300, $500. Lets just make it official because we have tried, we are trying to stop it but nobody is listening, nobody is concerned so lets put it official,” he said.
“Watu wanafanya kazi pale wakubwa hakuna mtu anataka kuskia. Iko kwa social media kila siku watu wanaumia pale. Jana Emirates haungesafiri kuenda Toronto kama hutoi 30k, 15k na kuna evidences kila mahali,” Clay further claimed.
