Suna East MP Junet Mohamed has hinted that more ODM members will be joining government in the coming days, after four of them landed CS Nominations.
He however says that the party will still do what people want and as well put on check those who have joined government.
“Some of our people have joined the government and more people will go that direction.
“As MPs, we are still in ODM standing with the people and we will do what the people want. If those who have left us and joined the government fail to do what the people want, we will still put them to task. We are still in ODM,” he said.
He further said that Raila Odinga will still remain ODM’s leader and wouldn’t be removed from the party.
“Lesuuda has said there are three arms of government: the legislature, executive, and judiciary, but you know Raila Odinga is another arm of government. He is independent, he is standing with the people. You can’t do things haphazardly without consulting Raila Odinga.
“We will still have our ODM party, and our leader is Raila Odinga. We do not have the wherewithal to eject Raila Odinga from the party,” he affirmed.
