Joseph Irungu alias Jowie has released a new song minutes after the High Court delivered judgement on Monica Kimani’s murder.
The new gospel song is titled Nakuabudu (I praise you).
In the video that was published on YouTube on Friday midday, Jowie praises the Lord and acknowledges the spiritual impact on his life.
He noted that the Word (of the Lord) comforts him in his time of need and the Lord guides him during his troubles.
The video shows Jowie’s thumbnail photo as he lifts his hands while looking above.
“I will praise you Lord forever. I am forever in your hands, I am returning to you,” sings the murder convict.
“At the cross, I am healed, I will not be afraid for you are with me. Your word comforts me, Lord. I praise you, I worship you. It’s you,” added the lyrics.
He was found guilty beyond reasonable doubt for killing the businesswoman.
He is set for sentencing on March 8.
