American presidential hopeful Joe Biden has come out categorically to state why he believes the race is his to win.
Through his official social media handles, Joe Biden clarified a number of reasons that will see him win the election. Referring to data from the elections, Biden stated the following:
- That he has more votes than any other candidate in the American history. Biden has surpassed the 70 million votes mark that has never been achieved before.
- That he has garnered more than 50% of the popular vote.
- That he has flipped at least three states from 2016. Those states were being controlled by the republicans.
- That he has netted a higher total margin in Wisconsin, Michigan than Trump did in 2016.
The American election is too close to call with no clear winner even after receiving results for most states. Some states are still counting their results and are expected to hand them over as soon as they finish tallying.

However, Biden is still ahead of Trump if the current results trickling in are anything to go by. He has managed to get more electoral colleges with Trump following him closely.
