Followers of Jehova Wanyonyi have left tongues wagging after resorting to wheat flour and beer as their major offerings to their god.
According to their chief priest Mr. Eliab Masinde, hard economic times pushed them to offer cheap sacrifices composed of alcohol and margarine-mixed flour, as opposed to their traditional animal offering.
“The sacrifice that we are offering at our alter is per the direction of Jehovah Wanyonyi to us through prophet Moses. We are using wheat flour and alcohol drinks due to hard economic times that our sect is facing.” He said.
Masinde further revealed that the use of a special beer brand should not be perceived as an evil act, since the offerings were according to the teachings of the Bible.
Regarding the coronavirus pandemic, the priest intimated that it was a form of punishment from God earmarked for the evil characters in the society.
Asked why they used Tusker beer, Masinde stated that its use was necessary in that it had a sweet aroma capable of pleasing their god Jehova Wanyonyi, who died some years back.
His followers to date believe that Wanyonyi did not die, and that he is roaming in the air protecting his followers. Even to date, his whereabouts remain unclear, with others believing that he may have been buried secretly after passing on.
However, asking about the place where Jehova Wanyonyi went to can land you in trouble since they prefer it to remain a secret.
