Jaguar gives Gikomba traders DP Rigathi’s Ksh1 million cash donation

Jaguar delivered DP Rigathi Gachagua’s 1 Million donation to Gikomba traders.

Rigathi Gachagua, has contributed Sh1 million to assist traders who lost their stocks in yet another Gikomba inferno.

Around 4 am on Wednesday, a portion of the market caught fire, leaving dealers counting their losses.

George Theuri, a political and youth affairs advisor in the Deputy President’s office, gave the donation to the entrepreneurs.

Delivering the cash donation, former MP Jaguar says;

“I visited traders of Gikomba market who were recently affected by a fire that destroyed property worth millions. I was accompanied by the area D.C.C Mr. Kipsang, Kariokor/Ziwani MCA Gerald Mrefu and Hon. Theuri.”
“As an intermediate response Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has donated One Million Shillings (1 Million) to the traders as relief to help kick start their businesses as investigations go on and long lasting solutions to these incidences are sorted.”

Charles Njagua, a former Starehe Mp, and Gerald Irungu, a former Ziwani MCA, were in Theuri’s company, the former Embakasi West Mp.

The fire that caused injuries to Samuel Njuguna, 23, was put out by the Nairobi County Fire and Disaster Team when they arrived on time.

Njuguna received immediate medical attention at Kenyatta National Hospital.
