Jackie Maribe, Her Sister Endorse Other Politicians  At The Expense Of Their Father’s Political Ambition

Date:

Ex Citizen TV presenter Jackie Maribe and her sister Cate will not be supporting their father, Mwangi Maribe in this year’s general elections.

Mwangi is eyeing the Kiharu parliamentary seat, after two failed attempts in the previous elections and it is expected that the two daughters would have supported their father unconditionally in the elections.

Mr. Maribe, who is also a pastor,  first contested in 2007 and his slogan was ‘work for the people’. The seat is currently being held by MP Ndindi Nyoro who is allied to DP William Ruto.

Jackie and her sister made the revelation while having a conversation at the journalist’s home.

Cate said that she was supporting George Theuri for the MP seat in Embakasi west while revealing that she transferred her vote from Murang’a to Embakasi West just to vote for him.

“MP is George Theuri, Embakasi West, I even transferred my vote, Mr. Maribe You will have to forgive me,  from Murang’a  to Nairobi,” Cate said as Jackie also confessed that she also did the same.

The Maribe further revealed that their presidential candidate is none other than Deputy President William Ruto.

“It is our father, the fifth William Samoei Ruto,” they both said, adding that they are supporting him because he is loyal. Cate further said that she is praying for him every day.

DP Ruto will be facing ODM leader Raila Odinga, who is as his main competitor, as well as other candidates such as Jimi Wanjigi, who are eyeing the presidential seat.
