Kenyans in social media have been castigating blogger Dennis Itumbi after he awarded deputy president William Ruto projects initiated by the national government.
Itumbi had made a post while claiming that the second in command was empowering people in Taita Taveta with personal goodies.
“DP @WilliamRuto empowering Enterprise in Taita Taveta. A Bottom Up approach.” Tweeted the blogger who accompanied the post with photos.

However, the hawk eyed Kenyans were keen to notice that these goodies came from the National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF) and not from DP Ruto as claimed in his Tweet.
Below is how a number of Kenyans reacted to Itumbi’s post:
“It appears like photo shops bcoz the guy with long hair in first pic is Mwangi Kiūnjuri, who will never attended DP meetings. However, how comes you take goodies in other places but in MtKenya u come with wheelbarrows. Muwache kutubeba ufala!”

Wewe na huyu Ruto wako hata hamna adabu. Hizo machine zimeandikwa waziwazi FUNDED BY NGAAF which is our taxes for “national govt affirmative action fund” halafu ndizo mnalaunch mkijifanya eti ni Ruto amenunulia watu. Shame on you conmen. @jeffkarisa mumefikisha ukora hapa?”
“These things has National Government Affirmative Action Fund NGAAF branding, and the Government stopped functioning Since the Handshake, Are these donated by Uganda Government?.”
“Ooh did I just read funded by NGAAF and not Ruto/ uda. Same NGAAF under women reps has helped women and youth in various counties get employment thro bodaboda.”
“Fellow Kenyans, these items among others have been successfully been funded your money through NGAAF. It’s not a favour to receive them but rather your right. Take them with no strings attached. Pesa ikikuja pia chukueni, ila kwa kura tucheze kama sisi.”
