Details have emerged on why billionaires’ Elon Musk and Google co-founder Sergey Brin relationship has been strained in the recent past.
Sources indicate that the two are no longer good friends after Musk had an affair with Brin’s wife Nicole Shanahan. The affair is believed to be the cause of Brin and Shanahan’s divorce earlier this year.
According to the Wall Street Journal(WSJ), Musk and Shanahan’s brief affair occurred in December last year.
The Tesla CEO has however denied having an affair with Brin’s wife saying that the report was total bullshit. He added that he is still friends with Brin.

He further claimed that WSJ has written a lot of stories about him aimed at tarnishing his image and that of Tesla.
“WSJ has run so many bs hit pieces on me and Tesla I’ve lost count! It’s embarrassing for them, frankly. They once wrote an article saying the FBI was about to arrest me, so I called FBI to ask what’s up and they said WSJ article was total bs. Just more short seller fud,” he said in a separate tweet.
Musk is ranked the richest person in the world with a net worth of $240 billion while Brin comes at position 8 with $95 billion net worth.
