Former Tahidi High Actor and Creative director Abel Mutua has revealed that rapper Khaligraph Jones was recently ambushed by bandits.
In an interview, Mutua said that the thugs ambushed the rapper and his team as they were shooting one of the music videos for his upcoming album.
“O.G recently was in trouble, he went to shoot a video in Kajiado for one of his tracks in his album. They were hooked by a certain guy who told them that there was a good place for video shooting,” Mutua said
While they went about preparing the set, the gang arrived demanding they stop whatever they were doing.
“They just saw motorbikes coming towards them and those on board ordered them to shut down everything and stay put and demanded that ‘We want Kshs300k for trespassing before you shoot this video’,” Mutua narrated.
He said that the gang was so serious that it could not allow the crew to just pack their things and leave the venue.
“It got worse, another one came also demanding Kshs300k over claims that they had passed in the midst of his farm,” Mutua explained in a midst of laughter.
The crew was forced to start shooting in the evening since they spend almost a whole day trying to negotiate with their accosters the amount of money they should take as compensation.
“They saw these guys had no money so they lowered their price to Kshs20,000. The shooting had been planned to start at 8 am but they started at 3pm.
