Betty Kyallo was forced to abruptly end a phone call interview after she was suspected to be having a male companion.
Milele FM presenter Ankali Ray had called Betty during his Uhondo wa Milele show for a short interview when a male voice was heard in the background but Betty claimed she was in a meeting.
“Am in a meeting I can’t talk a lot,” Betty told Ankali after he introduced himself.
On hearing that Betty was not alone, the presenter took advantage of the opportunity to confirm if Betty was with her Ex Nick Ndeda at that time.
“Naskia sauti hapo pembeni, huyo ni shemeji yangu Betty? Ndeda huyo Kwa mbali? (I can hear a voice at the background, is that my in-law? Is that Ndeda there?” Ankali posed.
“Ati nani?(who?)” Betty responded and laughed before disconnecting the call.
Ankali however was certain that Betty was with her ex-boyfriend, city lawyer Nick Ndeda, by judging from the voice.
“Gossipers, we know the voice of our in-law Ndeda. That must be Ndeda, there was no meeting over there, gossipers,” Ankali said.

Betty and Nick broke up in January this year, a move that saw Nick unfollow her on Instagram and Betty deleting all their photos together. The reason for their breakup however was not made public.
”Moving on swiftly,” Betty wrote on her IG thus fueling further speculations on their break-up.
Recently, the lawyer said that he was just beginning his year after having a tough time in January.
“I think there’s value in endings. Mainly because it means something new is beginning. January was so heavy, let’s set it down. February, we can begin anew. My year starts now. Bless,” Ndeda shared on his Insta stories earlier this month.
