The former prime minister Raila Odinga’s son, Raila Odinga Junior married Yvonne Wambui Kibukosya in 2011 in a colorful white wedding.
The wedding was attended by senior politicians, business people and surprisingly, the former president Daniel Moi was also among that guests who were present to witness the great union
Before settling down, the two were in a relationship for a number of years and it is no doubt that their love keeps growing as well as their family.
Not so much is known about Wambui. She has managed to keep her life private even though she is married to the son of one of the most powerful politicians in the country.
Wambui is on social media but she hardly shares her photos or that of her family. On Twitter she identifies herself as YveJr, probably the short form of Yvonne and Junior.
According to her profile on Twitter, she is interested in food, Sports, Music, Money, Travel, Government & Politics, Technology & Science, Entertainment and Style.
Her love for music can be traced in her family background. She is the daughter of Gido Kibukosya, a legendary musician and songwriter, and Susan Gachukia who was also a great musician. Wambui’s parents however divorced in 2007 after 20 years of marriage but had three children namely Wambui, Krystal and Peter.  Â
Her step brothers, Marcus and Miles were also musicians who were part of the famous camp mulla hip hop group. Wambui is a Luhya from Kakamega county
She is a mother, though it is not clear how many children she has together with Raila Junior but the last time she welcomed a baby was in August last year during her mother-in-law’s birthday.
