I Will Give Ruto 100% Of Mt. Kenya Votes In 2027- Gachagua

Date:

DP Rigathi Gachagua is not satisfied with how he performed in 2022 general elections in terms of delivering votes to his boss.

Gachagua said that he only managed to give President William Ruto 87% of Mt. Kenya region votes in the last general election.

The second in command is now working hard to ensure that he delivers 100% of votes in 2027 elections.

“I have said Mt. Kenya people should unite. I helped the president I tried but I didn’t meet my expectations. I would have liked to do much better. I gave president William Ruto from the mountain 87%. I lost 13%. I am looking  for that 13 % to give William Ruto 100% in 2027, ” Gachagua said during a church service in Nandi County.

According to him those who didn’t support Ruto last year didn’t do that out of their own will

“If I say that they say there is a problem. What is the problem in looking for Azimio people. And these people don’t belong to Azimio. They were just forced by being arrested on Fridays, bank accounts being frozen and being harassed,” he said.

He further said that Mt. Kenya locals who voted against Ruto are now looking for him so that they can find their way back to where they truly belong.

He added that he will ensure that he brings everybody on board to throw their weight behind the current head of state.
