Joshua Mwangangi, a 27-year old man from Katwanyaa in Machakos County has opened up on his dark past when he was just a teenager.
He engaged in bestiality during his days in primary school after he got addicted to watching pornographic videos. Bestiality is engaging sex with animals.
Mwangangi grew up as an illegitimate child. His mother got married to another man, who ran a business in Mombasa, when he was very young.
The marriage between her mother and step dad did not last. After the separation, which happened when he was in class 3, Mwangagi and his brother stayed with their father(the step dad) but he took them to his mothers rural home for 2 years.
He later married a very young woman and took them back to Mombasa. At that point, his step dad wanted to satisfy his young wife at all costs so that she could stay. He ended up buying a pornographic video.
Mwangangi however got access to the CD thinking that it was a normal movie video but what he watched gave him the hunger to watch it more and more often. He was then in class 6.
“My step dad came with the porn video to practice new skills on his new young chick. I think he was under that pressure, he was an old man and needed to pleasure her, he wanted to keep her that is why he bought the CD little did he know that the CD would destroy my life,” the 27-year old said in an interview with Lynne Ngungi TV.
After watching the CD, he would secretly watch women as they took their bath in bathrooms He got to a point of doing what he was seeing on the video to himself.
One day however, his step mother discovered that he was watching the CD and seems she got rid of it.
On the other hand, His step dad was so obsessed with his young wife that he stopped going to work just to be around her. He used to operate a hotel at the coast and due to being away from his workplace, the business collapsed and they went bankrupt.
They were forced to return to the upcountry, back to their grandmother’s place. It is their that his thirst to engage in sexual activities with animals began.
He would watch how the animals were mating and he then decided to do the same. The first few attempts were not successful because the human organ could not fit on the animal’s but he later learnt how he could penetrate.
“I would go and take care of the livestock, in the process I started becoming curious. I started observing the mating of these animals, my mind is already pornified and I was always desiring sex. One day in the forest I tried. I acted as if I was the he-animal, I think I was in class 7, it never worked.
“It became progressive I had never had sex in my life and the worst thing that happened in my life is that I lost my virginity to an animal,”” Mwangangi narrated.
“It reached a point, we used to lock the animals in the kitchen, I stared at the the animal and though why can’t I try what I tried the other time and this time it was successful but before that I tried to act as the she animal, I wanted the he animal but it didn’t from the next day I stopped trying to be the she-animal so I started trying to be the he- animal,” he added
The first time his wish became successful was on a sheep. He has done the same with a goat, a chicken and later a calf.
His turning point came when he was in class 8 where he received Christ and got saved. At that moment the habit just stopped but it was not easy for him.
“I have lived in seclusion, self torture. I have kept it to myself for over 10 years,” he said.
