Kamba musician Stephen Kasolo Kitole has finally broken silence after threatening to strangle and kill his young daughter over a mere bottle of water.
According to sources around Stephen Kasolo which spoke exclusively to Sonko News, the musician is very unhappy with his wife for sharing the video which was supposed to remain private.
The source also told Sonko News that the gospel singer did not think that the video would go viral the way it has.
“Stephen Kasolo ako sorry sana but the wife ndio ameleta izi vitu zote vile anasema. He never thought she was recording with an ill intention of sharing with the public.” Said the source.
Funnily, Stephen Kasolo added to the source that he was only joking and playing with his kid but Kenyans took the whole thing out of context
At the same time, Stephen Kasolo took to the social media handle to explain to his fans and Kenyans at large that he did not mean any harm to his daughter.
“Praise God my fans? I want to take this opportunity to apologise to my baby @ShineKasolo and all our fans for the video which is going viral, I never meant any harm to my daughter and I never will, neverthe less it has brought alot of tension on social media. Kindly forgive me this will never happen again am sorry even before God.” He wrote.
However, his apology attracted serious oppositions from Kenyans who had the following to say:
“This might cost you your career! The baby was so traumatized..how insensitive are you. Is that bottle a juju? Or how expensive is it? And your wife records you demanding your daughter to apologize to your mashabiki!! Why Kasolo? The children’s rights groups are coming for you. It doesn’t matter how many apologies you send out there. Umemwaga mtama kwa jiwa wewe.”
“That was so evil of a father to his kid..You have no conscious if while doing that you were ok .Why traumatize your own kid for views. Why would you do this ,watch it and send it to the public.”
“You are inhuman,it tells alot about how you even relate with the mother. A fool will always remain a fool.Even if u say sorry 1000000times,..u can’t change the foolishness in ur mouth.”
