COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli has yet again launched an attack directed at The Deputy President William Ruto associating his ‘Hustlers Nation’ slogan to thieves.
In an interview with NTV, the flamboyant SG has labelled hustler movement members as thieves alleging that they were the root of corruption and many vices that Kenya was experiencing.
In fact, Atwoli loathes the hustler movement to an extent that he declared he was willing to denounce any of his sons if he aligned or called himself a hustler.
“To me hustlers are thieves. And nobody would like to be called a hustler. If my boy or my son came to my house and told me he is a hustler I will chase him away from my family,” stated Atwoli.

Atwoli has therefore appealed to Kenyans to reject being called hustlers and to denounce the movement advising that Kenyans needed to work for their riches right after finishing their University Education.
Besides, the SG said that the leader (Ruto) who referred to himself and Kenyans as hustlers went to University and was therefore cleverly using poverty as a ladder to leadership.
“Because this man calling you a hustler went to University why can’t he create jobs?He was in an influential position. He wants to use poverty as a springboard to leadership,” an angry Atwoli declared.

This comes as Atwoli already declared that he is devising means to ensure President Uhuru Kenyatta remains in power beyond 2022. According to Atwoli, Uhuru is too young to retire and also added that he needs more time to finish the development projects he started in the country.
