Hussein Mohammed Calls Out Jeff Koinange During A Live Interview

Date:

Statehouse spokesperson Hussein Mohammed blasted renown government critic Morara Kebaso during a live interview where he claimed that President William Ruto called him, offering him a job and asking to stop the criticism.

On Wednesday during the Jeff Koinange Live, Morara claimed that at first he received calls from those around the president before the president resolved to call him personally.

“Initially I had calls from people around the President. Then eventually I got a call from the President. I spoke to him very respectfully because he is our President and he has been given that mandate by the people. Whatever I was offered I refused. I was offered a state position. Serikali ni kubwa,” Morara said.

Hussein however called in during the interview revealing that no such call ever happened, bashing Morara for lying to Kenyans.

“I am shocked at what Morara is saying. I wonder why he would lie on national TV that the President called him. It’s ridiculous that I have to respond to this but let me do it because you Jeff let it happen on TV. For the record, such a call never happened. It is a statement of his imagination,” he said.

Hussein also did not spare Jeff over the same.

“What is more shocking Jeff is that you can allow anyone to come on TV and tell you such a thing without demanding any proof or substantiation and you just buy it. All you should have done, the very least is say  for those are his words and is an alleged claims from him and not just accept and say the president called him, anybody can say that, many people say that,” the former Citizen TV news anchor said.

Morara has been leading a campaign in inspecting projects that were launched by president Ruto as well as those that have  stalled under his leadership.
