Thika Clergyman Bishop David Ngari popularly known as Gakuyo has urged his fellow church clergies not to mislead the congregation that Huduma Number is demonic.
Bishop Gakuyo was addressing journalists in Kiambu town when he made these sentiments touching on the Huduma number.
“It is wrong for men of God to mislead their stock. I beseech you to stop misleading the people for we know the Huduma Card is meant to enable Kenyans access government services with ease.” said Gakuyo.
Gakuyo who is also the political advisor of Kiambu Governor James Nyoro urged politicians to desist from dividing Kenyans by using the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI). He urged them to embark on uniting the citizens by preaching the truth about the BBI document.
On his side, Kiambu governor James Nyoro stated that his administration will ensure that the documents are well distributed in a bid to make the residents read and understand. As a result, the governor promised to facilitate the printing of simplified copies of the building bridges initiative report.
In attendance were also the Gatundu member of parliament Moses Kuria and Kiambu Town mp Jude Njomo. Kuria called upon leaders to consider consensus on the document to unite those that are for and those against it.

The Gatundu legislator expressed his reservation on the proposal to have political parties control the Independent and Electoral Boundaries Commission (IEBC) by appointing commissioners. He urged the country to look into that matter carefully since it has the potential of throwing the country to the dogs during elections.
