Huddah Monroe Reminisces Her Poor Performance In The Most Watched African Reality Show And How That Shaped Her

Date:

Socialite and entrepreneur Sonie Alhudda Njoroge popularly known as Huddah Monroe participated in one of the biggest African reality shows, Big Brother Africa season 8.

Unfortunately, she was the first housemate to be eliminated on the seventh day of the show after only 2 people voted to save her out of 15 votes that were required.

This was back in 2013 . According to Huddah, the show however played a big role in her journey to fame not only in Kenya but the whole of Africa.

“Since Big Brother Africa, I’m famous in the whole of Africa! Everywhere I go in Africa they know me. That is why I see my brand everywhere in Africa,” she said in her Insta stories.

Speaking of her poor performance in the show, Huddah said that that did not deter her from becoming the successful woman she is today. According to her, competitions do not determine how someone’s life would be.

“I was the first to be eliminated. But didn’t mean I was the first to fail in life. Instead, I stay winning. Competitions don’t determine who you are in life. It just competing that’s it. It is not a manual to the rest of your life,” Huddah said.

She also had a word for her haters and asked them to join the winning team instead of being part of the do nothing committee.

“I was the first to be eliminated but forever to make dollars. I f am not your inspiration, I don’t know why you are hating. You might as well stay chilling with your broke miserable friends and be nothing. Do nothing committee or join the winning team,” Huddah added.
