House Help Confesses To Sexually Molesting Employer’s 2-year Old Daughter And Using Spirit To Treat Her Wounds

Date:

A house help from Nyamira county will serve 15 years in jail after confessing to have sexually assaulted her employer’s daughter.

Martha Bosire shocked those present in court, before Keroka Senior Resident Magistrate Simon Arome by  calmly admitting that she was guilty as charged.

The 25-year old told the court that she inserted her fingers into the 2-year old’s private part and then used spirit to treat her wounds on different days. She would also bribe the minor with sweets so that she would not speak about the issue.

She however promised to never repeat the mistake in future while requesting the court for a lenient punishment.  The house help argued that she has no parents and had a young one who relied on her for upkeep.

According to the prosecution, Bosire committed the offence on diverse dates between November 14, 2021 and December 9, 2021.

The house help’s wrongdoing was discovered when the minor’s grandmother checked her private part and discovered that she had visible injuries thus raising concerns.

The matter was reported to the police station and the girl was treated at the Borabu Sub County Hospital where it was established that she had been sexually assaulted.
