DP Rigathi Gachagua had an awesome experience while taking a morning walk in Eldoret, a town set to be elevated to city status.
Gachagua took to social media sharing photos of the morning walk on Thursday went down.
“It was delightful taking my morning walk through the green leafy Eldoret town- the Home of Champions- ahead of its elevation to City Status. The walk was just before joining President @WilliamsRuto at State Lodge, Eldoret, as he welcomes home the Paris 2024 Olympics Champions,” Gachagua said.
“The beautiful city to be, is booming and top with businesses, posturing the huge potential of the people in propelling Eldoret to be the next strategic and economic frontier of our Nation,” the second in command added.
He further said that he interacted with locals who were ready to have their town elevated into a city.
“It was pleasant interacting with the warm, hardworking people of Eldoret and Uasin Gishu County, excited and ready for the newest City. Hongera Eldoret City!” he said.
